When we were first introduced to Doug, we were dining at one of his restaurants (though we didn't know it at the time). Coincidence or not, it's bound to happen for someone who's behind many of New York's top dining establishments including Willow Road and Toro. Now, as founder of JWALK, he's also worked with a number of international lifestyle brands like Lacoste, BareMinerals, Equinox, Bebe, Cosmopolitan Hotel and Samsung. With a background that also includes a period at the New York Stock Exchange, Doug has the rare ability of being proficient in both finance and brand work (oh, and food). Sessions with Doug will support the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

The UMDF offers support to all sufferers of mitochondrial disorders regardless of diagnosis, suspected or confirmed. Our mission is to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of mitochondrial disorders and to provide support to affected individuals and families. The UMDF is represented across the nation through volunteers who operate more than 50 local chapters, groups and ambassador programs.
